"My ideal client is someone who wants to work together to manage their mental health. Psychiatry can be frustrating, often people feel like a 'guinea pig' because it can be difficult to find the right medication to alleviate symptoms. It takes trust and collaboration between client and provider to be successful.
We can form many layers of protection around our mental health, like an onion. Medication is one layer, therapy is another. Family, or a career we have passion for, are other layers. All of these together will bring us to our best selves, which is what I hope we can achieve together.
I am approachable and want to work with you to manage your medications. You are the most important member and advocate on your mental health team, and I want to empower you to understand and manage your diagnosis."
