I’m Christina Freiman, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner providing psychiatric care across the lifespan, including children, adolescents, and adults. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and individualized, with a focus on helping patients feel informed and supported throughout treatment.
I earned my BA in Psychology from Binghamton University and completed both my Master’s and Doctorate degrees at Columbia University. My background includes community mental health, inpatient psychiatry, emergency psychiatry, and consult liaison psychiatry. I continue to work in emergency psychiatry while growing Lifespan in the Hudson Valley.
I have a special interest in ADHD, anxiety, mood disorders, women’s mental health, and eating disorders, and I practice from a Health at Every Size (HAES)-informed perspective.
At Lifespan Psychiatry, I believe mental health care should feel approachable and collaborative. Medication can be an important tool, but lasting wellness also involves sleep, therapy, relationships, routines, and overall lifestyle balance.
